Swap Graph

Description

Swap space is the area on a hard disk which is part of the Virtual Memory of your machine. Swap space is used when your system decides that it needs more memory than size of physical memory. Note that the access time for swap is much slower. It is common to use a separate whole partition of a hard disk for swapping.

There is one curve on the graph:

  • Used - the actual amount of memory stored in swap - smaller is better
