Bijk needs to read the /var/log/mail.log file with postfix-like log syntax to graph MTA usage statistics.
In most distributions, the file /var/log/mail.log is owned by the “adm” group, and the whole group can read the file. You can verify this by issuing the following command:
ls -l /var/log/mail.log
To add a user “bijk” to the group “adm”, you should use this command:
usermod -a -G adm bijk
Otherwise, please change the permissions of the file /var/log/mail.log in order to grant read access to user “bijk”. Note that logrotate can change permissions of this file while rotating it, so you may need to also change the permissions in the logrotate configuration file.
